Based on market and customer requirements we continually develop new cements, special building materials, concretes and services. In addition to new product developments, we are also active in the areas of further development, system/process development and basic research. We work hand in hand with universities (currently 17 cooperation partners), our cement and concrete labs and the technology centre.

Background: Organic acids (lactic acid, acetic acid) may damage concrete. Therefore, plastic coatings are often used in the area of sewage and agricultural construction.
In cooperation with the Uni Augsburg we develop new, bending tensile strength concretes with short carbon fibres.

Celitement
We currently cooperate with the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) to develop Celitements: new cements with unique workpieces and 40-50% CO2 saving.
